Apparently people don't understand why my blog name is Besiege. Brownie points for the brilliant person who figures it out.

While I enjoyed and will continue to run on the beach in barefeet, I can't imagine the risk of running on other terrains is worth any benefit tradeoff. Supposedly it would make you more efficient, but it also takes away any shock absorption, and increases the likelihood of hurting your feet or ankles.. which would hinder your running.
